Individuals with shorefront property that are taking advantage of  the Emergency Authorizations must realize that the DEEP requires simultaneous or post reconstruction permitting of the project anytime that a seawall or shore front protection structure is located at or about the high tide line. In addition, remember the Emergency Authorizations expire as of December 31st this year, so there is limited time to complete the necessary work, and have a permit application on file with the DEEP immediately thereafter.
